Now you are ready to get stain solving!
You should find the secret to shifting your stain among our line up of the top ten most stubborn stain suspects. And afterwards, don’t forget to wash with Token and hang those culprits out to dry!

  • Blood

Soak in cold, salty water. Keep changing the water until it runs clear.

  • Chewing gum

Put the garment in the freezer for an hour (yes, really!). This makes the gum so hard you can crack it off.

  • Chocolate

Scrape off any surface chocolate (no, don't eat it!), sponge the stain with warm soapy water and rinse with cold water.

  • Grass

Footie? Cartwheels? Just plain mucky? Let mud dry before brushing it off and gently rub methylated spirits into grass stains before rinsing with warm soapy water.

  • Ketchup

Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda on the saucy spot, leave for 10 minutes and soak in cold water

  • Make-up

There’s only one thing that works for lippy and that’s a specialist stain remover. As far as the rest of the make-up department goes, Token prides itself on sorting their stains

  • Mould

Soak whites in water with a tablespoon of household bleach. For more delicate fabrics, use one part hydrogen peroxide to four parts water. But never use-bleaching products on wool, silk, flame-resistant or easy-care finishes and coloured fabrics.

  • Oil

Sprinkle with talc to absorb any excess oil, submerge for 2 hours in cool water mixed with Token then wash on the hottest temperature the fabric will allow. For super greasy marks, you may have to reach for a specially formulated oily stain remover.

  • Paint

First, check the fabric’s colourfastness by gently rubbing white spirit into a hidden area. If the fabric keeps its colour, dab the stain with a white cloth dampened with white spirit and soak in cold water for 20 minutes

  • Tea

Prepare a fifty-fifty mixture of white vinegar and water, pour over the stain and let it stand for ten minutes.
